The tree of life is an archetypal symbol that can be found in most of the world's mythological, religious and philosophical traditions. It represents our personal development, uniqueness and individual beauty. Just as the branches of a tree strengthen and grow upwards to the sky, we too grow stronger, striving for greater knowledge, wisdom and new experiences as we move through life. But as psychoanalyst Carl Gustav Jung writes “No tree it is said, can grow to heaven unless its roots reach down to hell”.
